The European Union's reference centre for vocational education and training and lifelong learning, The mission of Cedefop (Centre europeen pour le developpement de la formation professionelle), is to provide expertise on vocational training, skills, qualifications and lifelong learning in order to support policy-making in the field. Cedefop collects and analyses information about lifelong learning, vocational education and training, and related labour market issues in the European Union. Its aim is to support policy-making in the field. Cedefop's governing board includes representatives of the Member States, employers associations and trade unions from across Europe.
