EURAG is a non-profit and non- religious European organisation independent of any political parties. Its purpose is to promote the quality of life of elderly people in society, at all social and political levels, advocating in particular: 1) the maintenance of an independent life 2) Strengthening participation in decision-making and care support 3) The full development of their potential 4) The promotion of self-help activities 5) Improving elderly people’s situation and integration in society 6) The safeguarding of financial security 7) The representation of their interests in society 8) The prevention of any kind of discrimination on grounds of age.
