AFE-INNOVNET
Launched in February 2014, the overarching goal of AFE-INNOVNET is to set up a large EU-wide community of local and regional authorities and other relevant stakeholders across the EU who want to work together to find smart and innovative evidence-based solutions to support active and healthy ageing and develop age-friendly environments across the EU. The consortium is composed of 28 partners from 16 EU countries and includes 12 cities and 5 regions. The project is led by a Steering Group composed of AGE Platform Europe, CEMR (Council of European Municipalities and Regions), TNO (Dutch Research Centre), Polibienestar Research Institute – University of Valencia, PAU Education and the Louth County Council. The project will run in close cooperation with WHO Europe. The project will open up to new partners in April 2014.

AgeingWell: network for the market uptake of ICT for ageing well
Funded by the European Commission, Information Society and Media Directorate-General, Information and Communication Technologies Policy Support Programme. The aim of the AgeingWell Network is to build and animate a European network focused on improving the quality of life of Elderly People by promoting the market uptake of ICT solutions for Ageing Well. To achieve its aim, the following five main objectives of the AgeingWell project are: to Develop Guidelines for deployment and sharing of best practice between key competence centres; to build an ICT for Ageing Knowledge Centre with the aim to share relevant information and results with the AgeingWell Community; to develop an ICT for Ageing Society Strategic Agenda, with the aim of providing a study on options for future structure and implementation of EU innovation funding; to promote the European innovation reinforcement between innovative ICT & Ageing enterprises (in particular SMEs) and the Investment Community; to raise awareness within the European community of ICT & Ageing stakeholders. The network is composed of sixteen organisations covering the industry, user organizations, public authorities, investors, housing and insurance companies and ICT solutions providers.

E.N.T.E.R. – European network for the transfer and exploitation of EU project results
E.N.T.E.R. supports E.U. strategies through the dissemination and exploitation of project results funded by European programmes; offers EU project coordinators the opportunity to disseminate information about their projects and their results; provides European citizens and organisations with regular information about developments and results in the EU project community; helps organisations to find EU project groups and consortia for exchanging knowledge and developing project ideas. The unlimited membership of the network is free of charge.

European Infonet Adult Education
European InfoNet Adult is a European network in the frame of the Lifelong Learning Programm / Grundtvig Network. It - provides a comprehensive, constantly growing database with reports (news, articles, background articles, interviews, etc.) related to adult education - provides an newsletter - has a network of around 40 correspondents (journalists / experts) all across Europe - cooperates with important organisations and networks (e.g. EAEA) First and foremost, InfoNet material is designed to be made into new articles by the media, as well as being used as a source of information for European institutions and others interested in European adult education issues. All texts are available in English, and they are written in accordance with special quality standards. InfoNet can be used free of charge, including reprinting the texts in the media.

OED Outreach Empowerment Diversity
This network, co-ordinated by EAEA, brings together 17 organisations from 14 countries. Its aim is to tackle the need for outreach to marginalised groups, especially migrants and ethnic minorities, for the development of more diversity in adult education, and especially the inclusion of learners´ voices, and for the empowerment of its learners to become active European citizens.
